Carl von Ossietzky University, Oldenburg

The Carl von Ossietzky University was founded in 1973. This makes it one of the young universities in Germany. Its goal is to find answers to the major questions facing society in the 21st century - with top interdisciplinary research and teaching.the university works closely with more than 200 universities worldwide. In addition, it is linked with non-university institutions in research, education, culture and business. The university prepares more than 13,700 students for professional life. The spectrum of disciplines ranges from linguistics, cultural studies and the humanities to education, art and music, economics and social sciences, mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and the medical and health sciences, which were founded in 2012. The guidance system, which was renewed in 2016, is strongly oriented towards the university's corporate design and was designed by the Kuhl|Frenzel agency. The creative line curve of the logo is incorporated into the head surface of the guidance elements. The elements of the guidance and orientation system include markings of building entrances, entrance stelae, welcome stelae as well as plan and directional stelae.
